Building Hope
CPR (Power Building among Latinx communities in La Plata and Montezuma Counties) for its acronym in Spanish is a program designed by and for the Latinx Immigrant community to build skills and confidence that improve our mental health, build healthy relationships, strengthen our community, advance our social mobility, and generate economic empowerment so that we can be safe, strong, and empowered caregivers to our community’s children while we face the chronic stress of being an Immigrant in this country.
Through “Creando Esperanza”, we feel motivated and encouraged to look further in order to solve problems faster and break barriers collectively. Most recently we created a series of videos with members of our community to speak about Hope during the times of Covid:
